We are looking for an experienced accountant to contribute to the ongoing financial success of our organization. You will play a pivotal role in our finance team, focusing on expense booking and basic reporting while showcasing your potential for future growth and taking on additional responsibilities
What you’ll be working on:
- Recording expenses ensuring compliance with company policies and accounting standards
- A/P: Maintaining the PO process and partner for our key stakeholders
- Maintain and update financial records incl. bank and account reconciliations, ensuring data accuracy and completeness
- Compliance: Stay updated on relevant tax regulations and ensure all financial activities comply with local standards
- Assist in Auditing: Collaborate with external auditors, HR and tax advisor
- Prepare month-end and year-end closings
- Communication with authorities
- Occasional travel to the Austrian offices to collaborate with the wider EMEA finance team.
What you bring to the role:
- Ideally between 3-5 years of experience in a finance or accounting role.
- Strong knowledge of accounting principles (UK GAAP), financial reporting, and expense management. Knowledge of international accounting standards is an advantage but not a requirement.
- Experience with Expense accounting
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel
- Exceptional attention to detail and accuracy
- Strong organizational and time-management skills
- Excellent communication and teamwork abilities
- Ambitious and driven to take on more responsibilities as the organization grows.
